JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC injectable gel has arrived in New York to the Park Avenue office of esteemed facial plastic surgeon, Steven Pearlman, MD FACS. Dr. Pearlman was one of only a handful of elite surgeons selected as educators for the nationwide launch of this first-ever FDA approved injectable filler. This unique product adds instant volume to the cheek area.

Get In Touch

Dr. Pearlman sees many patients concerned with the fold that goes from the base of the nose to the corner of the mouth–the nasolabial fold–and experience changes in the tear trough or lower eyelids as well. In clinical trials, a majority of patients expressed moderate, very much, or complete satisfaction with the tear trough rejuvenation. On the face, the key to facial rejuvenation and correction of the nasolabial area is not by filling the fold but restoring malar (cheek volume) in three key areas: the arch (or apex), apple of the cheek, and mid-face hollow. Injecting JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC into these key areas provides an instant subtle lift, improves the appearance of nasolabial folds and restores contour for a more youthful profile. Patients walk out looking five years younger.

This is miraculous and exciting progress in the world of fillers.  In some patients JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC may last up to two years and may be used in combination with other dermal fillers, laser skin rejuvenation, focused ultrasound and our favorite, The Pearl Lift.

  • Does JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC really last longer than any other filler?

JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC lasts longer than any other hyaluronic acid (HA) filler. The advantage of an HA filler is that it is can be dissolved if the results are unsatisfactory.

  • Can I put it in my lips?

JUVÉDERM® Voluma XC should not be put in the lips. It is too thick.
