After attending and lecturing at the 6th annual meeting of the Mullti-Speciality Foundation for Facial Plastic Surgery meeting in July, I found that the facelift techniques I prefer coincide with those performed by the nation’s experts. There are a number of ways to perform a facelift. The procedure needs to be individualized for each patient. For most patients, I prefer the deep plane facelift. It takes longer to peform and longer for patients to heal but the results also last longer.
