There’s quite a lot of buzz about the new anti-wrinkle treatment called the Stem Cell Facial lift. You may know that the Stem Cell Facial fills in hollows and plumps wrinkles to provide a more youthful appearance to the skin. But what is the procedure like? And why do they call it the Stem Cell Facial lift?

What is the Stem Cell facial lift Procedure like?

During the Stem Cell facial lift procedure, stem cell science is used to encourage the body to produce more collagen to create the appearance of younger skin. Also known as Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, the Stem Cell F works with your own blood plasma as our doctors extract your blood to begin the anti-wrinkle treatment.

That’s right—the Stem Cells really does use a small amount of your blood that’s drawn and then processed in a centrifuge that allows the platelets to be separated. The PRP—platelet rich plasma—is then drawn into a syringe to prepare a platelet-rich fibrin injectable gel.

The Stem Cell Facial lift Procedure is a three-step process that is so quick and easy, you should be in and out of our office within an hour! You can also try our Stem Cell Facial lift to get a taste of what the process is like.

The Stem Cell Facial lift is different from cosmetic injectables like JUVÉDERM® in that is does not add volume, but rather, stimulates your own collagen production and cell migration to eliminate lines and wrinkles. The results are subtle, natural and last up to two years.

Can the Stem Cell Facial lift be Combined with Fillers?

Yes, and we often recommend patients combine the Stem Cell Facial lift with hyaluronic acid fillers like JUVÉDERM®. PRPs attach to filler to stimulate collagen production, providing better volume results. PRPs also make traditional fillers last longer, giving you younger skin.
