Spider Vein Removal by Laser
Technically called "telangiectasias," spider veins are a type of vascular lesion created by broken capillaries under the skin. Characterized by red streaks penetrating the surface of the skin, spider veins often appear on visible areas of the body, including the face, hands, and legs.
With Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) therapy by our New York City laser skin treatment specialist, Dr. Pearlman, vein cauterization is reversed by heating the hemoglobin in the blood cells. The target blood vessels are safely destroyed, and naturally reabsorb into the body.
Often, patients request multiple laser treatments while visiting our practice. At his office in New York City, laser hair removal is also offered by Dr. Pearlman.
Before and after spider vein removal photos are featured on our laser treatment procedure page.
If you feel you are a candidate for spider vein removal, Dr. Pearlman would like to meet with you. He encourages you to schedule an initial consultation at his office to address your questions. Should you choose to proceed with treatment, the fee for this visit will be applied toward the cost of your procedure.
